Time to bring out the board games and your competitive spirit! It may seem like an old-fashioned idea but it’s a great opportunity to get off your screens and just spend quality time with each other.

This is also a great chance for your kids to develop their communication skills, teamwork, and critical thinking. Whether your kids are in nursery and preschool, elementary school, high school or college, we’re sure this is a fun and challenging activity for everyone.

Not to mention it’s just plain fun.

2. Cook together.

Nothing beats a nice home-cooked meal you all chipped in to make. Crack open those cookbooks and whip up some exciting treats for you and the family.

Who says you need to be a chef to pull this off? You can even bake some yummy baked goods together.

It’s fun, interactive, and improves your communication with each other. At the same time, you’ll get a delicious reward for your efforts in the end.

3. Have a pajama dance party.

You can choose a playlist together and dance together. It doesn’t have to be pretty or coordinated, you just need to have fun.

It’s also a great way for all of you to get some exercise despite being inside the house.

4. Work on some art.

Grab some art supplies and get creative together. Make your own masterpieces.

You can use watercolor, colored pencils, and other materials to craft your artwork. This is a fun activity for both kids and adults because it can help destress.

It’s a really good outlet for your mental health as well.
