“Once Upon a Christmas” at Heritage Park starts November 26!

Calgarians, mark your calendars for some well-deserved holiday cheer. November 26 is the start of Once Upon A Christmas at Heritage Park! 

The Christmas event is one of the city’s most iconic holiday events with a lot of hands-on activities and entertainment for the whole family. Once Upon A Christmas will take place at Heritage Park Historical Village, Heritage Town Square, and Gasoline Alley Museum. 

Starting on November 26, the event will start at 10 in the morning and end around 4 in the afternoon. For the specific dates, check out our list below.

To give you an overview of what to expect, you’ll get to experience wagon rides, snow paintings, photo opportunities with Santa, a reindeer scavenger hunt, gingerbread decorating, and different fun family activities like snowshoe races and children’s mazes.

As for tickets, children from 3 to 15 years of age will have to pay $14.95 per person. General admission costs $19.95 per ticket. 

You can buy your tickets here. Do note that annual membership holders of Heritage Park get unlimited free admission to this event. 

Parking is not included in the ticket prices, unfortunately, but they are available at the park. Parking kiosks are found in the parking lot and in Heritage Town Square, so it’s convenient and easy to find.
