Local burger chain, Iyycburg, is set to open a brand new branch in Hillhurst this September. This is the chain’s third branch, with the first two being in Sunmills Drive and Sage Hill respectively.
They announced their news on Instagram, although they’re still keeping the exact date of the opening under wraps. This announcement was received with excitement from the community because Iyycburg has grown to be well-loved in the city.
One of the things that set Iyycburg apart is that they use locally-sourced meat and dairy. Their burger patties are all made in-house from 100% Alberta ground beef, resulting in the familiar Iyycburg taste Calgarians have come to know and love.
Their current offerings include a wide range of burgers. You can opt for the single, double, or triple patties, depending on how hungry you are.
They also have a fried chicken sandwich and the smashed samosa burger, which is their vegetarian option. Plus, you can turn any of these burgers or sandwiches into a lettuce wrap, if you want a healthier version.
They also have a lot of choices for sides and toppings that are truly mouth-watering. They have samosa, turkey bacon, fried egg, fried onion, and mushroom to choose from.
Aside from these, they’re also famous for their wide selection of milkshake flavors and bubble tea.
