The Dog & Duck is a homey establishment, tucked away in a more remote path in the city. They have a spacious patio with plenty of shade, making it an ideal hangout spot for you and your dog even on sweltering days.

We find that the best way to enjoy the picturesque patio is to visit in April, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Prairie Dog Brewing provides a vibrant and lively atmosphere even in the afternoon. The patio and even the indoor seating is an ideal location for parties in large groups.

Dogs love their patio for a simple reason: it has artificial grass laid out. Because of that, the ground is never too hot for precious paws.

The staff at Prairie also provides dogs with water bowls, ensuring that not only the human customers are attended to, but also the fur babies in tow. Do note that their broad patio is only open during the summer, though.

The ground is covered with wooden planks, so your dogs can relax even during summer. We suggest going after dark, though. At night, this spot looks enchanting because of the fairy lights surrounding the outdoor seating, making it perfect for intimate gatherings.

PORCH is a unique establishment that seamlessly combines the allure of patio seating and the comfort of indoor dining, all while providing a bright and airy atmosphere.

What we love most about this establishment is that dogs are also allowed to sit on the couches, which is pretty uncommon. So, if you plan on swinging by, you and your dog are surely in for a treat. And by swinging by, we mean it literally, because they’ve also installed swings as seats by the bar!

Our curious dogs seemed to enjoy the sight of people passing by, as if hoping someone would give them a good belly rub! Worry not, dear readers, we gave them a good one not long after!

It’s also well-shaded, so even if the ground is just asphalt, it shouldn’t be too hot for your pups during the summer. However, we still like checking the temperature to be safe!
