Excellent qualified staff here

“Excellent qualified staff here. G23 takes a global health approach to your treatment. I love that sports medicine doctors are on staff to help you as needed (which is probably more often than you think). It is more expensive than a run-of-the-mill physio, because it’s so much more than that. Worth every penny.”

These folks run a first class operation

“These folks run a first class operation. It’s really one-stop shopping for people (young and old) with joint and muscle injuries and issues. In just the past 5 weeks, I have gone through medical examinations, on-the-spot imaging, the best physio I’ve ever experienced, meeting with knee brace experts, receiving my custom-made knee braces, and finally having fluid taken off my knee, and cortisone put in. Beyond this, there is a workable, realistic, ongoing plan in place to get me back to being able to hike and cycle like I used to.

Kudos to Dr. Wong, Dr. Wasserman, Darryl Finnerty, Carla Reimer and all the friendly staff at Group 23.”

Furthermore, they also have biomechanists who can assist you in identifying any errors in your movements and rectifying them to lessen your chances of getting injured.

This place is great from top to bottom

“This place is great from top to bottom. I’ve been to them for a couple of injuries, and have seen Dr. Robinson, both he and his associates are awesome. They give a full and thorough assessment and review of your situation, and detailed instructions on how to work towards recovery.

They are timely, prompt, and super professional and thorough. They stand out as some of the best treatments I have had to receive in any clinic or doctor’s office.

Thank you Innovative and Dr. Robinson and crew for always getting me back on the path to recovery.”

I will never go anywhere else for physio or Sports Medicine Doctors

“I will never go anywhere else for physio or Sports Medicine Doctors. I have been seeing Lori & Dr. Brett for years and both have been a HUGE advocate in my treatment. With having 2 shoulder surgeries, and a knee surgery Dr. Brett has made sure I am with the best surgeons and I trust him with all of my injuries as he makes sure I am heard and not just another case. Lori has been a miracle worker and makes sure that any of my concerns about my recovery are put to ease and never rushes with treatment, she always takes her time and ensures the exercises given are beneficial and help you get back to where you want to be. Both Dr. Brett & Lori work WITH you not against you. The front staff are always friendly and helpful and with a busy clinic they always make sure you are taken care of. I will recommend Innovative to everyone and anyone 🙂”

The Downtown Sports Clinic is a sports medicine clinic started by physiotherapists Siobhan Duggan and Julie Moylan in 1985. With their two locations in Barclay Centre and Bow Valley Square, they provide a list of services that include nutrition consulting, orthotics, intramuscular stimulation, and vestibular rehabilitation.

Aside from their general sports medicine services, another thing I should mention is that they also offer plenty of specialised programs that are designed to improve their patients’ well-being and reduce their chances of injury.

A personal favourite of mine is their Fit for Living Program, which aims to prevent aches and injuries by designing a unique conditioning program for every patient. They also have unique programs for people who frequently run or play golf.

Lastly, they also sell fitness and rehabilitation products like compression socks and massage sticks in their two clinics. You can learn more about these products on this page.

I cannot say enough good things about everyone at this clinic

“I cannot say enough good things about everyone at this clinic, I have seen Janine (Physio), Kristen (Massage), and Samara (Dietician). Everyone from the Admin team to every practitioner consistently provide high level of care. I was impressed because the practitioners are all individually skilled, but they also communicated with each other to better understand what I was dealing with and build off each other. It was great to receive what felt like well-rounded treatment from a team that cares about helping me reach my goals.”
