Considered the biggest skatepark in the city, Millennium Park is the ultimate hangout spot for many local skaters.

Huntington Hills Skatepark is one of the more popular skateparks in the city, and yet it’s always comfortably uncrowded. 

It’s an ideal location for different kinds of skaters, whether you’re accustomed to skating in style on the streets or in the skateparks skating a bowl. 

It’s an ideal spot for beginners because the environment isn’t intimidating. Moreover, we find that it’s also a great place to meet like-minded people who will support you in your skating journey by teaching you a few tricks! 

That said, we still catch some advanced skaters who would love this spot because it’s a playground that lets them show off their skills.

New Brighton Skateparks stretches for about 9,950 square feet with street style skating, in addition to a bowl. It seems that this spot is usually busy and enjoyed by kids and teenagers hoping to learn the sport. If that’s not up your alley, you might want to skip this one, though.

Let’s say it’s raining outside, but you’re itching for a skating session. Well, good thing there’s a fantastic solution to that called the Vortex Action Sports, a 4,000 square feet indoor skatepark in the city. 

Unlike the other parks on this list you can go to for free, this one will cost you a few bucks. It might be a waste of money for some skaters, but their amenities might make you say otherwise. 

They have a mini ramp that’s 30 feet in width, complete with moveable extensions as well as a bowled corner. Additionally, they also have a plaza-style setup that comes with step ups, stairs, and such. 

Just a quick note: you need to book in advance before you pop in to ensure your spot.
