1. A Child’s View Learning Centre Ltd

Address: 6107 4 Ave NE
Contact Details: +14032356330
Operating Hours: Monday – Friday: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
A Child’s View Learning Centre Ltd is a reputable institution with 30 years of experience in providing childcare and before and after-school care.
One thing we like about this centre is that it offers nice programs. They have daycare, preschool, and summer care for school-age children. That means parents can rely on them year-round – be it school days, summer breaks, or holidays.
We also find their daycare program great. It focuses on play-based learning. They have trained teachers and staff experienced in handling infants and toddlers.
A parent also mentioned that his son adapted quickly within days and enjoyed participating in circle time.
The learning centre itself is also conducive. It’s spacious, with plenty of tables and properly labelled shelves, which is important for learning. They also offer a variety of learning materials and resources, including textbooks, storybooks, and educational toys.
Organisation and cleanliness? A big check! Parents mentioned they have well-maintained classrooms and attentive staff who create a safe learning environment for kids.
If there’s one small downside, it’s that they can have limited availability. They’re a bit in demand, so if you’re planning to enrol your child here, we recommend inquiring early.
Clean facility
“This daycare has been great to me Sami and Anoop really know how to help when in crisis they care for your children. The facility is very clean and the other teachers are very nice. My boys love the daycare and when we faced problems, they were dealt with immediately all staff care about the growth and learning of the children.”

Fantastic educational program
“These folks have a fantastic educational program. My son has attended for 2 years since his 1st birthday, and is far ahead of the curve thanks to the lovely ladies at A Child’s View. He loves his teachers and is always excited to tell me about his day. Thank you especially to Sami and Ms Zechiah for such a positive and loving atmosphere, and for caring so much about the kids. Despite moving further away, we’re choosing to stay because I doubt we could find anywhere else that compares.”

Their programs are also something worth noting. They offer classroom and community workshops, summer and winter camps, and before- and after-school care programs for kindergarten through grade 6.
Teachers are also supportive and encouraging. A parent shared that the teachers are very quick to help her and her son adjust, as her son had a bit of a hard time the first couple of days at drop-off.
They also said that teachers greet you and your kids upon entering the centre. This is great and a nice way to build rapport with the student.
Another thing we appreciate is that they also take their students outdoors when the weather is nice. Whether it’s for playtime or hands-on learning, outdoor activities help students stay engaged and active.
Just one thing to note is that they don’t have daycare here. The youngest they accept is preschool.

3. Kids Avenue Early Learning Centre

Address: 825 8 Ave SW C835
Contact Details: +15879688358
Operating Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Kids Avenure Early Learning Centre is one of the most convenient learning centres in Calgary that we found. They specialise in early childhood education, focusing on kids aged 12 months to 5 years old.
Their teachers are certified and trained in infant and toddler care. They know how to guide them through developmental milestones.
Parents also shared that the teachers are patient and quick to respond, making their kids feel comfortable.
The centre itself is something a parent would love for their kids. It’s bright, organised, and filled with age-appropriate learning materials and toys.
There are also outdoor sessions, especially for curious preschoolers. This gives children a chance to explore and develop motor skills in a supervised environment.
However, they’re very limited to early childhood programs. This learning centre isn’t ideal if you’re looking for school-aged support for your children.
Overall, we still think that Kids Avenue Early Learning Centres is a solid choice for a specialised early learning environment for your kids.
Great experience
“Our daughter had a great experience here. We only changed daycare because we moved away from Calgary. Educators are caring and adapt care to each child’s needs. Our daughter liked the art activities, and the dance and yoga classes. Also, communication is great.”
– Ms. S Frederiksen, Google Review
Warm and friendly environment
“We absolutely love this daycare! Our daughter feels safe, comfortable, and truly at home here. The environment is warm and friendly, and every staff member is incredibly kind, caring, and attentive. It’s clear that the educators genuinely love what they do — they’re always positive and full of energy, creating a wonderful atmosphere for the kids.
We’re so grateful to have found a place where our child is not only well taken care of but also happy and thriving. If we ever have more children in the future, there’s no doubt — this is the only daycare we would trust again. Highly recommended!”

4. Family First Creative Learning Centre

Address: 555 11 Ave SW #204
Contact Details: +15873525383
Operating Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Family First Creative Learning Centre is a well-established educational institution with branches in Downtown and Glenmore.
Unlike other centres, Family First Creative Learning Centre is more focused on early childhood education. They specifically handle infants to kindergarten.
For some, you might say that their programs are a bit limited. It’s true. But we also think that because of that, they were able to focus on childcare, especially since younger kids need more time and attention.
Also, we like what we’ve seen at Family First Creative Learning Centre. They’re complete with creative activities, a playroom, and outdoor experiences.
Their teachers are also patient and kind. You can see how dedicated they are to the children’s growth. They have engaging daily activities and age-appropriate challenges that prepare kids socially and academically.
Communication is also something valued the most. Parents say that teachers and staff communicate clearly and consistently regarding their kids’ progress and improvement.
However, we find them a bit expensive. They require a security deposit, which is refundable upon withdrawal. Aside from that, they also require a one-month advance payment.
Supportive and welcoming environment
“My son has been attending Family First Creative Learning Centre for over a year, and we have always been extremely satisfied with the care he receives.
He has the necessary support and a warm, welcoming environment, exactly as we had hoped for. The educators are always helpful, kind, and attentive, dedicated to meeting the children’s needs.
It’s very rewarding to see how excited my son is to go to the centre every day to learn and play.
I sincerely thank you for the excellent service, and I’m confident that he is better prepared to begin his next journey in Grade 1!”

One thing that stood out to us about this centre is its learning space. They have nice classrooms with colourful learning materials. They mostly spend time learning on the floor, especially younger kids, but they have these comfy and clean mats.
Teachers are also professional and entertaining. They usually organise fun events to celebrate during holidays. Their daily activities are also something that kids really enjoy.
Parents also share that their kids always look forward to going to the centre because of their teachers. They also said that apart from seeing the improvement academically, kids also gained happy memories during their stay in the centre.
However, expect that they can be expensive, especially since it’s a bilingual centre.
