Wedding Finesse’s approach feels more creative and collaborative than transactional. Most of the clients we came across mentioned that it didn’t feel like they were just picking items from their warehouse; it felt like they were truly working with a team.

We’ve heard a lot of great feedback about Masha in particular. Clients say she listens closely, gives helpful input and does everything she can to make sure the decor matches exactly what you have in mind.

One thing our team loved about Special Event Rentals is how much they offer. They have over 50 types of tents, from small pop-up tents to big, fancy ones like pole and clearspan tents. No matter how big or small your event is, there’s something that fits.

They also have a large selection of rental items like tables, linens, and even fire safety gear. A client mentioned they got a fire extinguisher included for their wedding day, which shows the team is thinking about safety too. 

What’s great is that everything they rent out is owned and managed by them, so there’s consistency in quality.

We also found it really helpful that their full inventory is listed on their website. And nope, it’s not just displayed as text, but as photos. 

For couples or planners who have a specific vision, this makes it much easier to decide what items they’d rent from them.

Another thing we liked is that they offer free decor consultations and a DIY service. It’s a nice bonus if you want to do some of the setup yourself, but still get a bit of expert advice. 

However, someone did mention that some of their rental items, like chairs, weren’t labelled. This caused confusion when a venue had similar-looking chairs, and the customer was almost charged for “missing” items.

Looking into their inventory, we’re confident that they can deliver anything, whatever your vibe is. 

The selection of tents is impressive. There are various sizes and styles, including clear-top tents. It’s perfect if you want to let your guests enjoy the sky during the ceremony.

Their high-end portable washroom trailers also stood out to us since it’s something we don’t usually see in other rental companies. It’s a great option for outdoor weddings, giving guests access to comfortable facilities.

If you’re planning an outdoor wedding, The Rental Brothers should be on your radar. They have an exceptional preparedness for the weather. 

Several couples mentioned that when storms rolled in, the team was already out early in the morning, checking tents and making sure everything was safe. 

The rental selection also feels intentionally curated. You’ll find rustic farm tables that suit outdoor or countryside themes and more elegant Chiavari chairs for formal setups. 

The tents, in particular, stood out to us. They’re not the standard ones with poles in the middle. These are clear-span tents, which means no annoying support poles interrupting your layout or photos—a big win for layout flexibility and visual appeal.

We also liked how their rental period is generous. You get up to five days for one price, which gives couples extra time for setup and takedown.

From a practical standpoint, they offer full-service rentals. They take care of everything, from delivery and setup to on-site support and takedown. It’s the kind of thing that relieves so much stress from a wedding day.

Just a heads up, though, that while the service area is centered around Calgary, delivery fees can climb quickly the farther out you are. It starts at $50 one-way and can go over $150+ for a round-trip delivery.

Fusion Bollywood is a great choice if you’re planning an ethnic or fusion-style wedding. A lot of what they offer is perfect for Bollywood style or South Asian weddings, and nothing about it feels generic. 

They have all the traditional and unique pieces that you just won’t find elsewhere, like beautifully designed mandaps, traditional bridal palanquins (doli), and even royal-looking thrones. 

We liked that all their decor is stored in their office, so you can actually go in and see everything before you book. That’s a big plus. Seeing things in person helps a lot with confidence in your choices.

A lot of clients also agreed on how easy they make the whole setup. With other rental companies, you often have to set things up yourself or rely on friends and family to do it. But Fusion delivers, sets up the decor, and takes everything down afterwards.

From what we gathered, their team also works closely with clients to come up with themes and color palettes, so it’s not just about renting stuff.

That said, it’s worth noting they specialize in premium, full-service events. They may not be the most affordable option if you’re trying to keep costs low.
