“I can’t say enough about how great my experience at Dr. Steve Bureau’s office was. I am 30 years old and finally gathered up the courage to get my wisdom teeth out after many years of my dentist recommending it. I was really nervous because my bottom wisdom teeth were impacted and close to the nerve, so I knew I’d likely need to go under general anesthesia. I am terrified of needle and all medical things really, so I didn’t think I could go through with it! But when my wisdom teeth started to cause lots of discomfort (headaches mostly), I knew I had to get them removed. So I asked my dentist for a referral, and they sent me to Dr. Bureau for a consultation.
The office is very comfortable, clean, and professional. The front desk staff is very friendly and approachable, and they are very helpful with health insurance questions and estimates! My consultation was informative and helped put my mind at ease. Dr. Bureau explained the procedure thoroughly, and I didn’t feel rushed or silly for being nervous. They were very understanding.
Nevertheless, when I went in for my surgery a few months later, I was still very anxious. I had done way too much googling beforehand and was stressing myself out. I was prescribed a couple 0.5mg Ativan to calm my nerves, which helped a lot (would highly recommend)!! The gal at the front desk was so sweet & understanding. She reassured me everything would be fine & had such a calming voice! She was very kind. When it was time to go in, I was ready!! They used a gas to put me to sleep initially, and then they inserted an IV when I was passed out. I am really glad they did it this way because IVs freak me out, lol! I took 3 inhales of the gas and was out like a light! When I woke up, it was all over, and much easier than I had worked up in my head! They gave me a tasty popsicle and a fancy ice pack headband, and I felt so brave! Haha!
My husband had picked up my prescriptions from the pharmacy in the building while I was in surgery — again, everything was so organized! The lovely people at the reception area gave me some more information and sent me home with everything I needed (gauze, syringe, information booklet, receipts for the insurance providers, etc.). Everyone was so helpful.
After the procedure, I healing up very nicely! The first 2-3 days were the most swollen, but the fancy ice pack headband helped with that! Eat lots of soft food, like apple sauce & mashed potatoes, and follow all aftercare instructions, and you should be good! :)”

“I was referred to Dr.Darichuk by my dentist for a spot on my lip. I was lucky enough to get an appointment the same week. Which is great since I was anxious to find out what it maybe.
The office is new and plenty of parking right in front. As soon as I walked in I felt right at home. The girls at the front were so warm and welcoming. They provided me forms to fill out and then I waited for my appointment. When it was time, a nurse came out and brought me to one of the rooms. I will admit this place is huge and they have quiet the cool gadgets and equipment. The nurse and I spoke and she got me pre-prepped for the Dr.
When the Dr did arrive we sat and chatted first on why I was there and any concerns I had. He really listed and h didnt seem rushed. Even knowing that his waiting room was very busy and full. He did a very through examination and provide me lots of information. He also showed me pictures on the big screen in the room of things to look for and what things look like that can be a concern (moles, sun damage etc etc). Dr Darichuk was very knowledgeable, personable and very kind. Even though my appointment turned out great he didnt treat it as no big deal or that I was wasting his time. He still spent the time and put me at ease. The money I spent for this appointment (which was not covered by insurance) was well worth it. A+
Everyone I encountered at this office was fantastic.I encountered 4 employees and 1 Dr in this visit and all were outstanding. All very friendly and took the time. No rush and no feeling you weren’t important or your concern wasn’t important. They treated everyone the same, no matter what your appointment was for.

“Due to negligence on my part, and my morbid fear of dentists, a 30+ year old filling fell out about 18 months ago. Because there was no pain at the time, I let it go. About a month ago, that neglect finally caught up with me and forced me to see a dentist (a new one, but that’s the subject of another review). I was told that there was too much gone and that it couldn’t be saved, so I was referred to Face Forward.
I should say that about 4 years ago, I had another molar removed by a general dentist and it did not go well. It took about 45 minutes and was not pleasant. So I went with more than a bit of apprehension.
However, my apprehension was sadly misplaced. The room was set up not unlike a medical surgery, lots of hard surfaces easy to keep clean. The place has 3 or 4 of these with one having its own extremely competent assistant. The surgeon went from theatre to theatre doing his thing.
After I was prepped and “profoundly frozen”, the surgeon came in to do his thing. 6 minutes later it always all over. What a difference a specialist makes! I still can’t believe it was finished that quickly.
The only quibble I have is that they make you pay up front and then send the paperwork into the insurance company.
As far as the facility and work is concerned, highly recommended.”

“That’s right, I’m going to review my dentist.
First, some background: I like beer. I especially like beer out of a bottle. This past Saturday I was enjoying said beverage when I banged my false front tooth on the bottle and knocked it out (classy, I know). This is not the first time this has happened. For those of you who know me, this particular tooth was bonded with a fake at the budding age of 6 when a friends’ little brother threw a step ladder at me, and, in 1999; in a coffee cup incident; it was knocked loose and rebonded again.
I have been going to Harker Chan and Associates for about three years and I called Dr. Harker about correcting my sudden hillbilliness Sunday morning. He graciously answered even though I called a personal number and offered to come in early the next day to get me fixed. I was in and out of his office in a half hour.
To say that this man is anything short of a perfectionist would be an understatement. He is quick, professional and knows his work. His portfolio of veneered teeth is impressive; I have seen few veneers that look so natural.
Now I can’t review the entire practice without also talking about Dr. Chan (Dr. Chan is my regular doctor there, who rocks ps, but Dr. Harker has worked on my false tooth before and is the cosmetic surgeon, hence my call to him). Dr. Chan is prompt, lively and professional. When I was slated to have my wisdom teeth removed; without sedation, Dr. Chan had me back at work in less than a day. This guy knows his dental surgery.
These men have ground, filled, bonded, poked and prodded my teeth for three years and I’m always relaxed in their chair. Their staff is friendly, smart and all have a very gentile touch.”
