What I like is that he offers a magic and dance package. Who’s the kid who wouldn’t love to see some magic and dance with their friends after?
Parents especially loved how interactive Christopher’s shows are. One of the moms I spoke to even shared that he made her child feel like the star of the show, which says a lot about his ability to connect with kids.
What seems to impress parents most, however, is Christopher’s humour. Several have noted that both kids and adults were laughing throughout the show, which made the celebration even more fun and memorable.

Malcolm Russell stood out to me for his wide service area. He can perform sleight-of-hand magic not only in Calgary, but also in the whole of Alberta and even outside Canada. He’s a flexible choice for clients planning events in multiple locations.
When it comes to magic, I love that he can perform both close-up and stage magic shows. This is great because you have the choice of whether you want to interact with him during his performance or just completely watch him from afar.
Another strength is his ability to incorporate funny stories in his shows. Some of the clients told me that they felt more connected to him and his shows because of his storytelling abilities.
It’s also reassuring that he holds public liability insurance. This provides peace of mind in case something bad happens during his interactive close-up performance.

Richard Rondeau’s biggest strength for me is his ability to cater his magic shows to various ages. Whether performing in front of kids or senior citizens, he seems to adapt his act seamlessly, so he’s a reliable choice for a wide range of events.
His show formats are flexible too. He can deliver both stationery and walk-around shows. His table magic tricks—particularly his coin tricks—have been singled out by many of the clients I talked to as unique and engaging.
When I was conversing with some of his clients, I noticed that most of them praised his birthday party magic shows. Several parents said that he’s great at handling kids who try to expose his tricks.
I also love how affordable his services are. His services are comparatively cheap to most magicians in Calgary. While the standard starting price is CA$300, you can hire him for as low as CA$200.
The only problem is that there are times when he’s fully booked. So, contact him as soon as possible when planning to hire him for your upcoming party.

I love that he specialises in comedy magic, specifically tailored for children. I think kids will love the humorous dialogues and persona he uses when performing.
What’s great is that his kid-centric performances are also enjoyable for older people. This is what most of the parents I spoke to stated, saying that the adult visitors also enjoyed his show.
Some of the parents also appreciated his unmatched patience. A mom told me that the scheduled time for his show wasn’t followed because kids were still playing when he arrived. Despite that, he just smiled and said he could wait until they finished playing.
However, he mostly performs at kids’ parties, so expect limited adult magic tricks if you hire him for your corporate and other adult-only events.
