We’re very impressed with the skills of Hello Hair Salon’s staff. One of our team members got a cut here, and it really showed off their hairstylist’s talent in cutting and styling.
Their versatility is very impressive. They can help you achieve pretty much any Korean-style haircut you want, whether it be classic or trendy. They can even personalise the haircut to the shape of your face.
They’re also great with Korean updos. They did the K-inspired messy bun for one of our team members, and we all loved how it turned out.
Their Korean-style perms are excellent as well. Most of the customers we spoke to were really happy with the stylish perm they received. Many also appreciated that the perms were suited to their hair condition.
That said, we did notice that some hairstylists work on multiple customers at once. While that helps them manage time, we do worry it might affect the quality of service for some customers.

“I had Bella and got a perm the first time. She made my first salmon experience very remarkable. My hair didn’t take the solution and straightened out very quickly but I was able to rebook Bella and she fixed my hair. She was super helpful and willing; and the owners were more than understanding of the situation. Bella is super knowledgeable in teaching me how to maintain a perm and is very warming and kind. GN Beauty Studio is one of the few Korean salons in the city that has been operating for over a decade. The way they run their business made us understand why many locals have loved them for many years.
One of the clear reasons is that they’re available every day. We visited here on a Sunday morning, which is very convenient because all of us have no work on that day.
During our visit, one of our team members volunteered to try their unique Korean braided extension technique. We all loved it because they didn’t use glue or heat, leaving our friend’s hair damage-free.
Aside from Korean extensions, they can also execute Korean-style perms. They can do basic and soft wave perms.
The only problem is that we waited for almost an hour despite having a scheduled appointment. When we talked to some of their frequent customers, they told us that it occasionally happens to them too.

“This place is a hidden gem that balances the laid-back charm of a saloon with the cozy comfort of a coffee shop. The way London Hair Salon’s hairstylists explain their process in every Korean-inspired hairstyle they perform is a green flag for us. They know how to simplify explaining complex things about their industry, like how various perms suit a particular hair type.
Speaking of perms, they’re very proficient in executing Korean-style perms. I tried their perm services myself, and I can say that the hairstylist’s level of attention to detail in perming my hair was exceptional.
We’re also huge fans of their team’s roster. They have skilled junior, senior, and master stylists. This makes them very affordable for people of all budgets.
Lastly, we love the salon’s welcoming atmosphere. Its pleasant minimalist interior design made us very comfortable during our visit.
However, we spoke to some customers stating that they were rescheduled not just once, but twice, without a clear reason. This is very inconvenient for busy people. Fortunately, it doesn’t happen often, according to the same customers.

“2nd time here now and felt like sharing. If you’re looking for a men’s perm I highly recommend giving stylist Rosie a try. Biggest highlight is the level of attention to detail and service she shows. She’s polite, courteous and never forgets to offer you beverages while you’re waiting. Also goes above and beyond with head/neck massages while you’re in the good hands of a professional stylist. She takes her time with washing your hair and carefully making sure your curls are nice and tight. She seems very professional and experienced. Doesn’t seem the type to be pushy or rushed. We love how friendly On Hair Studio’s staff were during our visit. They offered us a drink and kept on talking to us.
Most of the customers we spoke to praised them for their perming skills. They happily shared how satisfied they were with their perms.
To know if their hairstylists are really skilled in perming, one of our members availed of their Korean magic straight perm. We were all very happy with how smooth and straight our friend’s hair was. What’s even better is that it lasted for several months.
We also appreciate their transparency on the prices of their services. It’s very helpful that they have a detailed price list, as we were able to determine right away whether their services fit our budget.
That said, the wait time was a letdown. We ended up waiting for over an hour. Yes, the staff were lovely the whole time, but the delay definitely tested our patience.

We were very hooked on the aesthetic atmosphere of Silver Orchid Salon. We found it difficult not to grab our phones and take a picture of the beautiful plants they have in their salon.
We discovered how amazing their hairstylists are through talking to their customers during our visit. We heard many names who received positive opinions about their skills, including Stella, Shirley, and Sherina.
Some of the customers we spoke to mentioned that their wedding hairstylist was from this salon. They told us in detail how their hair stayed intact throughout the entire wedding day.
Speaking of hair, they specialise in Korean-style perms. We saw how they executed these perms, and we loved how they focused on creating volume and lift at the hair root. This method gives a soft and natural-looking effect on hair.
However, we noticed that they accept customers more than they can handle. We witnessed how this caused delays for some customers to be serviced.
