I’ll never forget the $5 latte that tasted like dishwater. A few months ago, I ducked into a coffee shop everyone on TikTok swore was a must-visit and a hidden gem.
The vibe was promising — Instagrammable succulents and reclaimed barnwood walls. But the oat milk in my latte curdled like cottage cheese, and I left with a caffeine headache and bruised wallet.
So this time, I decided to do some real research. From cozy neighborhood spots to third-wave roasters, I visited a ton of coffee shops in Inglewood to find the ones that won’t let me down. Here are the ones who actually serve delicious cups!
How much does it cost to get coffee in Inglewood, Calgary?
It costs at least $3 to get a cup of coffee at a coffee shop in Inglewood, Calgary. This is just an estimate. The final price will depend on the kind of coffee you get and more.

Cafe Gravity is the spot for coffee-loving musicians. Over the past 13 years, they’ve hosted over 3,500 live shows. They also donate 5% of every coffee sale to fund emerging artists.
The coffee bean bags themselves are intertwined with music. Every 340g bag ties to a Spotify playlist of past performers, and the beans themselves are named after songs or lyrics.
I really enjoyed their Sunday Morning single-origin Guatemala. It was a silky medium roast with a chocolate depth that had a surprising green grape flavor in each brew.
The Uptown Funk espresso blend, though, stole the show. The strawberry and caramel notes punched through my latte like a brass section, living up to its Bruno Mars-inspired name.
Food matches the eclectic vibe. Their savory bacon and onion quiche is a crowd favorite. The charcuterie board is pretty good too, with delicious cheese and generous meats.
Their cheese scones were a bit of a let-down, though. When I ordered them, they arrived barely warm. And while the cheese was definitely good, they weren’t as crunchy as I’d hoped
The menu offers a great variety
“A charming and cozy spot in Inglewood with a welcoming atmosphere. The baristas are exceptionally friendly, the menu offers a great variety, and the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!”

Tasty cappuccino, croissant & cheesecake
“This is a very cute little spot in Inglewood. Tasty cappuccino, croissant & cheesecake. Often cappuccino (even ones that say traditional) are very weak and have more foam than shots. This was strong enough for me and tasty.”

Rosso Coffee Roasters’ fun online Coffee Match quiz is spot on when it comes to pairing customers with coffee roasts to try.
I tried the quiz and was paired with their Daydream light roast. The blend’s honey and stone fruit notes complement my lazy Sunday mornings just fine. It has that addicting peach cobbler aroma too.
Regulars I spoke to praised their baristas for the beautiful latte art and the strong, but smooth espresso shots.
Their pastries are also quite delicious. The first time I came, a server recommended the chocolate eclair to me. It was sweet, but the dark chocolate didn’t overpower the creamy filling inside.
Regulars also appreciate using Rosso Rewards. It’s a loyalty program where participants earn points to redeem for free drinks, food items, and exclusive merchandise. I signed up so I could save time, skip the lines, and order ahead of time.
Rosso’s ambiance is also inviting with its warm wood tones. However, I wouldn’t recommend the coffee shop to those looking to get some work done.
The stools and communal tables aren’t excellent workstations. The shop lacks space for focus, and charging ports are very limited too.
Amazing espresso and quick service
“Amazing espresso and delicious Danish. This is “must try” if you love good coffee. Very friendly staff and quick service. We will certainly stop by if we are around. Thank you!”

Special almond milk and incredible bagel sandwich
‘They use this really special almond milk that is my absolute favourite and most cafes do not carry it. Also their bagel breakfast sandwich is incredible. Staff are friendly, sweet and quick!”

3. Good News Coffee

Address: 1608 17 Ave SE, Calgary
Contact Details: +14034850401
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 4 PM
Good News Coffee carves its niche with indulgent grilled croissant sandwiches.
I ordered the Brie, Pear & Pecan, and really loved it. The creamy brie melted into the thinly sliced pears, and the toasted pecans added crunch while the drizzle of honey gave it sweetness.
Regulars I spoke to enjoy the Classic Beef & Cheese. People love the tender roast beef and the melted Gouda nestled in spinach. For many regulars here, it’s a go-to lunch that fills them up without weighing them down.
Drink-wise, their honey oat latte earned my praise. The barista crafted mine with smooth espresso, velvety oat milk, and just enough honey to sweeten it without making it taste sugary.
The shop is tiny, though. They only have a few tables, so securing a seat during busy afternoon hours is a gamble.
Plus, they have limited baristas. There were times when I had to wait for over 10 minutes for a cup of coffee.
Great little coffee shop in Inglewood
“After driving by this location many times, we stopped in for an afternoon coffee. What a great little coffee shop in Inglewood. I don’t often order an Americano, as most places tend to make them “watery”. I had and Americano here and it was very well made, as robust as one might get it Italy. Along side a delicious lavender shortbread, it made for a nice break. My wife had a London fog, made with oat milk and a lemon square that was very tasty. The interior is bright and airy, featuring numerous large windows and a roll-up door that would be ideal in the summer. They have a shelf with books and board games to entertain guest, should the want. There’s patio space and as the day was warmer for winter, there was a fire burning and people were using the patio for their visit. I can imagine it would be great to sit out there in the summers. Highly recommend.”

Seriously good lattes and next level avocado toast

They’ve got seriously good lattes, super chill vibes, and the friendliest crew. Don’t sleep on the avocado toast—it’s next-level. Perfect place to kick back and sip happy.’

- Monday to Thursday – 6:30 AM to 5 PM
- Friday – 6:30 AM to 6 PM

I love how Analog Coffee goes beyond just serving coffee. They teach customers how to make them too!
Their site’s Brew Basics section provides step-by-step photo guides on home brewing, making it easier for customers to enjoy coffee at home.
I tried their Aeropress and Chemax tutorials to make my own brews at home. Using their best-selling Godfather Espresso beans, I was able to make a cup nearly as perfect as the ones in the shop.
After a few sips, I can see why their Godfather Espresso beans are a best seller. Their espresso beans carry a caramel aroma and have a slight milk chocolate and caramel aftertaste.
The shop itself almost feels like a coffee lab meets design studio. They have heavy wood beams, a striking communal table, and decor that shows off Analog’s coffee obsession.
Food-wise, their breakfast sandwiches and pastries are delicious. In fact, I almost ordered more than I could eat.
My only complaint about this place is that their in-person staff are not that friendly. I asked for a few order recommendations, and they were quite dismissive.
“My favorite Analog location is definitely the one in Inglewood. The space strikes the perfect balance—open, airy, and quiet enough to work on your laptop or get lost in a book, yet still lively with just the right energy. It’s a cozy spot for productivity or simply enjoying a well-crafted cup of coffee in a vibrant, artistic neighborhood. Highly recommend for solo visits or casual meetups.”

“Analog Coffee in Inglewood is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, I received a warm and friendly welcome that set a perfect tone for my visit. The food options are fantastic, with a selection that caters to various tastes, making it easy to find something satisfying. The coffee, of course, is super—rich, flavorful, and brewed to perfection. The interior design is thoughtfully crafted, creating a cozy and inviting space that’s perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying a great cup of coffee. Highly recommend stopping by!”

5. Calgary Heritage Roasting Company

Address: 2020 11 St SE
Contact Details: +14034552472
Operating Hours:
- Monday, Sunday – 8 AM to 4 PM
- Tuesday to Saturday – 8 AM to 6 PM
Calgary Heritage Roasting Company’s Flash Fuel Organic Instant Coffee made it onto my list of must-haves. It’s a no-fuss coffee solution for people like me who don’t have time to mess around.
It’s even packed in this adorable matchbox-style pack.
Unlike nasty instant coffee, Calgary Heritage sticks to organic microground beans. This gives every cup a smooth, full-bodied taste. Plus, the beans are free from unhealthy additives.
Other customers I spoke to swear by its convenience. People have used it on backcountry trails since all they really have to do is add hot water. It’s like a pour-over without the gear.
The café itself mirrors their rugged-but-sustainable ethos. I loved all the reclaimed wood tables, exposed brick, and their comfortable leather armchairs.
But their food menu is limited. They only have a few pastries available.
Staffing is also limited—the lone barista, though friendly, juggled a line of eight when I came here.
Serves some of the best coffee in the city
“Calgary Heritage Roasting Co. serves some of the best coffee in the city. Every cup is bold, smooth, and full of flavor, and you can tell they’re passionate about their craft. The rustic, cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to unwind, and the friendly staff make the experience even better.”
