Huey Lam Suits is the kind of place that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew about suits.
Their showroom is impressive. It’s full of various suits, fabrics, and lining options. It gives you endless ways to personalise every detail of your suit, from the lapels and buttons to the inner finishes.
We also appreciate how friendly and knowledgeable the tailor is. We like their consultative approach. They examine clients’ body proportions, comfort preferences, and the occasion before making a recommendation.
They’re especially good and well-experienced in tailoring wedding suits. This makes them a reliable choice if you’re preparing for a big day and want a sharp, perfectly fitted look.
In fact, most of their clients are grooms. Those we managed to talk to consistently praised the team for giving honest opinions and delivering quality custom suits.
On top of that, their pricing is fair.
That said, initial consultations tend to be quick, which makes some clients feel slightly rushed.

Henry’s Tailoring is one of the best custom-made tailors in Calgary in terms of experience. With 15 years of experience, they’ve already handled a range of styles, body types, and fabrics.
We found them especially great for those attending formal events. They have high-end Italian fabrics in store that give their custom-made suits a more premium, finer texture.
What we like even more about Henry Tailoring is that they also offer alteration services besides bespoke suits. The shop is ideal if you’re looking to refresh, resize, or fine-tune your existing suits.
Their shop is comfortable too for consultations and browsing. It’s not that huge, but they have a pretty organised suit selection, making it easy to browse and choose fabrics.
One thing worth noting, though, is that the quality of work can be inconsistent. While many clients had smooth experiences, others mentioned needing multiple visits to correct issues such as sleeve length or zippers.
Thankfully, the staff are always accommodating, and they seem to always fix the problems with the suits.

“I was headed to a Gala event on saturday and got into my dress and then the zipper broke, trapping me in it…I couldn’t bring the zipper down and was stuck…I called at 5:20pm and they answered! If you’re looking for wedding-day perfection, we found REIGN Suit Co. to be one of the best in the city when it comes to dressing well.
They specialise in wedding suits, with custom-made designs and premium fabrics. When we checked some of the suits and tuxedos they’ve made in the past, it’s no surprise that many of their previous clients consistently recommend them to grooms.
The actual quality of the suits aside, we found their measurement process very convenient. They come to you and take the measurements, which is very helpful for busy grooms or anyone with a tight schedule.
Another thing we loved was their Suit Upgrade Program. Clients receive $100 off a brand-new, custom-made suit when they exchange their gently used suit and shirt and get a new one. The collected shirts and suits will then be donated to SuitUP Edmonton.
And speaking of Edmonton, they also have a branch there, making their tailoring service more accessible to more people.
Their customer service is also commendable. Friendly and responsive staff. They’re also very patient, so you won’t feel pressured or rushed.
However, expect that they can be a bit expensive, given the fact that they use premium fabrics, and you really get a personalised tailoring experience.

The fact that the owner also came straight from Italy adds another layer of credibility and wow factor. He brings in traditional European techniques and a deep appreciation for fine fabrics.

Another huge advantage is their quick turnaround. A client commended them for delivering his incredible suit for his wedding in just 4 weeks. Their suits are handmade, and that gives them a lot of control over their delivery timelines.
