1. Christmas Treeland

Christmas Treeland makes picking out a tree enjoyable. Several parents shared that the staff at Christmas Treeland made their kids feel like VIPs as they handpicked the tree of their choice.
We love that visitors get hot apple cider or delicious hot chocolate to quench their thirst while picking out a tree to go home with. Plus, the staff even take family pictures for their customers against their iconic red truck.
We also like that the staff guide their customers through their selection of Douglas firs, Fraser pines, and “speciality” Quebec-grown trees (cultivated specifically for their lush, fragrant branches).
When we came to visit, we noticed how they trim, wrap, and load the trees into the car with care. It’s no surprise that previous customers we talked to said their Christmas trees always ended up being the showstopping holiday centrepieces.
However, there have been a few complaints about the prices. Some people complained they paid too much for a tree that shed needles relentlessly despite following care instructions.

Countryside Christmas Trees is for families who value reliability, warmth, and trees that outlast the season.
Although the place is a bit hard to find at first, we think the effort is worth it after seeing the quality of the trees they offer. There were rows of Fraser Firs, Nova Scotia Balsam Firs, and Natural Balsam Firs in the shop—all in great condition.
The staff made the experience even better. They greeted us with smiles, even in the chill of winter. They were very patient in explaining the trees that they have and guiding us through the selection.
Their Nova Scotia Balsam Fir trees stood out the most during our visit. We loved how full and symmetrical they were. Plus, they have this woodsy aroma that kind of feels luxurious.
When we talked to customers, many shared that their trees held their needles well into January. That’s really impressive considering the dry indoor heat that comes after the holidays.
We also think, for the most part, that their trees are affordable. Plus, we like how their staff takes care to load the tree on your car or arrange delivery if need be.

We also appreciate that they offer different delivery options. Thye offer flat deck trailer delivery, semi-truck delivery, and even machine installation for larger trees. This makes it easier for customers to take home the trees that they want.
The delivery is prompt and done neatly too. Customers we talked to said the trees arrived in great shape, without a branch out of place.
The only downside is that their delivery calendar fills up fast.

Great experience overall, I sent an email inquiring about purchasing some spruce trees., Chandler got back to me very quickly and set a up a time to meet at their location. Unfortunately I got stuck in traffic and ended up arriving 5 minutes before closing, regardless of the time she showed me around and spent the time to answer all the questions I had. Calgary Christmas Trees is at the Lake Bonavista Promenade site. From what we’ve heard, they have perfected the art of matching families with their ideal Christmas tree.
We love how friendly their staff is. We appreciated how they guided us through rows of options, patiently answering our questions about needle retention and trunk straightness.
Whether their customers are first-time buyers or seasoned tree hunters, the team makes sure everyon finds a tree that fits their space and style.
That’s probably why several families told us that for years, they’ve returned to this lot for healthy, strong trees.
One family shared that they came by here and picked up a 6-foot Fraser fir, with full, lush branches and a fresh pine scent. They liked that the sturdy branches held everything from their heirloom glass baubles to chunky knit stockings without a droop.
The only thing we aren’t too crazy about is that they don’t offer a lot of assistance with tree delivery. This is an issue for some who don’t have access to a truck that can take a tree home.
